Cookie Monstaz: resources for mise-en-scene

Location:

         The whole sequence is set in Monoux College

·        The canteen/tuck shop - where the two main characters fight over the cookie then eventually agree to settling it after college.

·        The gym – both characters go to the gym at different times to exercise and get fit prepare for the fight.

·        The field/ theatre – depending on the weather, this is where the boys battle for the cookie.

·        Cookie/s – (is the main product of the film, i.e synergy)

·        A cookie box

·        Gym equipment

·        Music player

·         Clapper board

Costume:

·        Casual clothing during the scene in the canteen

·        During the dance scene, tracksuit bottoms/ shorts,

·        Baggy t-shirts

·        2 head bands blue/red

Hair and make-up:

·        Cornrows – to relate to his black culture

·        Low Afro – also relates to black culture

·        Make up – minimalistic and natural to show their social status (working class)
